CS Professional Exam Structure: Duration, Mode & Passing Criteria

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has designed the CS Professional Exam Pattern to assess the knowledge and skills of candidates who wish to become Company Secretaries. The examination consists of three modules: Module I, Module II, and Module III. Each module has four papers, and candidates must pass all 12 papers to qualify for the CS Professional program. The examination is conducted in offline mode, and candidates are given three hours to complete each paper. The exam pattern is designed to test a candidate's knowledge, skills, and aptitude in various subjects related to company secretaryship and to evaluate their analytical and problem-solving skills.
